06 — Non-Scalar / Qualitative Ratification

Goal

Let qualitative/architectural wins ratify, not just scalar-metric wins — removing the structural dead-end where a non-scalar bet can only ever be refuted or stuck.

Implementation Sketch

  • extend outcome_teeth_ref to admit a qualitative verdict path with its own teeth (e.g. a cited structural-win artifact) alongside the numeric BETTER+predicted.after path.
  • ratified flip still REJECTS on unparseable evidence for the NUMERIC path; the qualitative path requires its declared teeth.
  • both bindings; validate_evolution_entry SSOT.

Work Items

  • Extend the ratification validator (scripts/plan_corpus/schemas.py validate_evolution_entry + the schema allOf at plan-routing.schema.json) so outcome_teeth_ref admits a non-scalar / qualitative ratification path (architectural win) ALONGSIDE the numeric gate (cures conservatism surface E).
  • Define the qualitative-ratification teeth (what evidence ratifies a non-scalar bet) preserving teeth-by-status discipline §3; enforce in BOTH bindings (v2 + v7).
  • Extend scripts/plan_corpus/tests/test_evolution_schema.py (non-scalar ratify accept/reject matrix) and update learning-ledger.md §11.3.
